Oh sleep, how important you are to me…
So, we all know how important GOOD sleep is to our health. Here lately I’ve been getting NO good sleep, barely any sleep at that.
I will lay down and sleep MAYBE 4 hours, then wake up and feel wide awake, but I know I have not had enough sleep. I will lay there and try to go back to sleep, but it takes 3 hours or more to fall back asleep. I have had significant back pain, which is made worse by stress and no sleep, here lately.
I know that sleeping during the day does nothing to help me sleep at night, but how do you get through the day feeling exhausted? I truly don’t have an answer to this. I’ve never had issues sleeping until recently when I began to have a lot of anxiety from work, but now, anxiety is the least of my issues.
I know exercising is important, which is what I try to do, but it’s hard when I feel so tired. I’m curious on how others deal with this same issue without getting down and stressed about it.
Working 3rd shift definitely doesn’t make life any easier, if anything it makes it worse. I’m curious and eager to get advice from others to see how they deal with no sleep issues! Please comment below if you have suggestions or similar story!
